Mix It Up Day
Mix It Up Day was a HUGE success again this year! We had a SUPER discussion during the Tootsie Pop Lesson about giving others a chance. Eating lunch with new people provided us the perfect opportunity to put this lesson into practice. A great BIG thank you to Mrs. Diemler!

Problem Solving
Mrs. Bergman, the WGSD Math Coordinator, worked with us during Math Workshop this morning to solve the problem: How Many Whoppers in the Jar? The curiosity of our young mathematicians led them to ask great questions, which helped them in solving this multi-step problem! @wgsdmath

How can you overcome the effects of gravity?
The second grade students worked in small groups to make parachutes using tissues/coffee filters, string/yarn, tape, and paperclips. We then tested our parachutes for the best air resistance, which we're learning slows down the pull of gravity.
